Miami, FL, December 6, 2000 - The Radisson Deauville Resort Miami Beach
has appointed Luis F. Ponce as General Manager. Mr. Ponce brings over 25
years in the international hotel industry to his new position at the Radisson
Deauville Resort. His wide industry experience, managing resorts
in Miami Beach and Latin America will prove invaluable to the resort, located
in one of North America�s most multicultural cities.
Prior to his appointment at the Radisson Deauville,
Mr. Ponce served as Vice President of Operations for Radisson Hotels, Latin
America. In that capacity he opened five-star hotels in Ecuador,
Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia which were winners of the Radisson�s Presidential
Award-an honor bestowed on the company�s best hotels.
Mr. Ponce holds a degree in Business Administration from the University
of Saint Thomas of Villanueva and has served as an instructor of hotel
administration courses in Miami and Puerto Rico.
