Planning for the golf and home community began years ago with hole layout/engineering, and design studies.  Fairways are planted in first-growth TifSport®, the patented turf grass known for its extended growing season.  TifSport has documented extended growth beyond the first winter freeze, and spring green-up well in advance of its Bermuda cousins.  The greens are bent-grass, which are becoming rare in Texas.  Golf Course Superintendent Scott Parker selected the L93/Crenshaw blend bent-grass to match carefully the temperature, humidity and climate conditions of the Texas hill country. �This blend gives us synergy�a true northern bent-grass in Certified L93, and the well-known capacity of Crenshaw to handle higher summer temperatures.�
