The suite renovation is the last phase of an all-over renovation for The Pan Pacific San Francisco, the most extensive in the property�s 12 year history. The first two phases included a comprehensive guestroom refurbishment which was completed two years ago and the meeting space and public area renovation which was concluded last year. 

With a makeover featuring soft colors and Asian-inspired touches, each of the suites new decors complements the Pan Pacific�s distinctive style and architectural design. �Our intent was to create a look and feel which is a cross between San Francisco and Asia,� said designer Glenn Texeira. �We also wanted to enhance, not compete with, the dramatic architectural elements of the John Portman-designed hotel.�
 

As a result, the new decor, while adding refreshed luxury and eye appeal to each of the luxurious suites, keeps the focus on such features as the arched windows framing the city below. A new color scheme of soft beige and green with golden accents, prevalent in the upholstery and window treatments, enhances the spacious, light-filled interior of each suite.  Among the sumptuous new touches are specially designed, custom manufactured furnishings from Hong Kong and Milan. Located on the top two floors of the 21-story hotel, the Olympic, California and Penthouse suites combine spectacular city views with stunning design and an extraordinary range of fine amenities.

John Portman-designed The Pan Pacific San Francisco

To start at the top, the Penthouse Suite is a magnificent, 3,000-square-foot residential apartment which can be used as two independent suites or as a two bedroom-suite with a connecting hallway. A private marble entrance hall leads to a dramatic corner living room with huge windows framing panoramic views of San Francisco Bay. A grand piano, double-sided working fireplace, guest bathroom, dining table for eight, wet bar and valet�s prep pantry make the suite a natural for entertaining in style.

The suite�s master bedroom is appointed with a canopied bed, leather chase lounge and walk-in closet, while an adjoining study offers a quiet sitting area with marble desk. A lavish marble bathroom provides a separate dressing area and  bathtub with jets.
Available as part of the Penthouse Suite or on its own is an adjoining 1,000 - square-foot Petite Penthouse suite which includes a master bedroom and a separate cozy living room with marble desk, mini-bar and marble serving area. The suite�s marble bathroom features both a glass-enclosed shower and separate soaking tub.

Also on the top floor is the elegant Olympic Suite, a 1,100-square-foot haven with a private entrance hallway, spacious living room with leather furnishings, marble serving area and wet bar and a dining area seating six.  The suite also includes a master bedroom with canopied bed and two marble bathrooms.  
 
Providing both spaciousness and flexibility is the California Suite which is available in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations ranging from 1,500 to 2,300 square feet. Occupying a prime corner spot on the 20th floor, the suite offers a plush living area with entertainment console, dining area for six, valet pantry, master bedroom with king bed and oversized marble bathroom with an elevated jet tub.  If desired, the suite can connect with one or two additional guest bedrooms.
