Michael J. Vito, 33, has been promoted to general manager.  He had been the Seneca�s operations manager. Before that, he had been general manager of the Holiday Inn & Suites, Atlanta, Ga.

Peter A. Chesek, 27, has been promoted to senior sales manager, from sales manager.  In his new position, he also oversees sales for the Belden-Stratford, a sister property in Chicago�s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Natalie Vitek, 59, has been appointed sales manager, responsible for group travel, travel agents, and university clients.  She had been sales manager for Chicago�s Allerton Hotel for 12 years.

Built as a luxury apartment building in the 1920s, the stately 270-room Seneca Hotel & Suites offers business and leisure travelers large suites in a quite, Gold Coast location, a block east of North Michigan Avenue.
