Hotel Properties Meeting the Government Services Administrations (GSA) Requirements Have Home at HotelsAtPerDiem.com
OAK BROOK, Ill., May 15, 2000 - OAG, the world leader in government travel solutions, today announced that it has launched HotelsAtPerDiem.com, a new web site that features hotel properties that meet the Government Services Administrations (GSA) requirements for government travelers.

HotelsAtPerDiem.com enables government and military travelers to obtain lists of GSA certified hotel properties by city or state from any computer terminal with Internet access. The hotel listing includes name, address and phone number, and in some cases enables travelers to link directly with a specific hotel web site for booking. All properties listed on the new OAG Internet site have a government room rate that is at or below the federal per diem for their area and have secured a FEMA number, indicating the hotels compliance with the Fire Safety Act.

As a travel solutions-oriented company, OAG created HotelsAtPerDiem.com in direct response to input from our customers, commented Curt Reilly, Vice President and Publisher, OAG Government Business Unit. OAG is known as an innovator in the government travel market and is well respected for its government travel planning products. We are confident government travelers and travel arrangers will find our new hotel web site to be a valuable and efficient tool.

Since all of the properties included satisfy government travel policies, HotelsAtPerDiem.com will also help foster greater travel compliance among government and military travelers. The only web site of its kind,
HotelsAtPerDiem.com was created and will be maintained by OAG. Hotel information included on the site is provided by the GSA.

HotelsAtPerDiem.com can also be accessed via the OAG Government web site ( www.gov.oag.com/gsa ) or through the GSAs Office of Government-wide Policy Travel Management Internet site ( www.policyworks.gov/travel ).  The OAG flagship government travel product is the OAG OFFICIAL TRAVELER Travel System. It provides government and military travelers access to all published worldwide direct and connecting flights from over 800 airlines and over 73,000 domestic and international hotels.

The System also displays full details on all GSA contract flights and government discount hotels, as well as worldwide government per diem rates, Fire Safety Act (FSA) certified properties and worldwide city destination information.

OAG Worldwide, a division of Reed Business Information and a member of the Reed Elsevier plc group, publishes travel information products in print and electronic format under the OAG brand, including OAG Pocket Flight Guides, OAG Travel Information System and OAG Flight Guide. OAG data is also transmitted to the worlds global distribution systems used by travel agents, airlines and associated organizations throughout the world.
