Singapore, 15 June 2000 - Spanish hotel chain,
Sol Meliá today announced the appointment of Munadir Syah as the
new General Manager of Sol Lovina in Bali.
Mr. Syah brings to the post international experience, having held senior management positions with a number of international hotel chains, - including the Inter-Continental Group, Hilton Group and a series of independent hotels including the Ciputra Hotel in Jakarta, and Swiss Belhotel, - throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Mr. Syah is no newcomer to Sol Meliá since his first Asian posting to Indonesia before joining Sol Meliá as Rooms Division Manager at Sol Meliá�s Asia flagship property, the Gran Meliá Jakarta. An Indonesian national, Mr. Syah gained his professional training from Cornell University. Sol Lovina is located on the Northern tip of Bali Island on Lovina Beach, well known as a haven for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. The hotel is located 7 kilometres by car from the Singaraja City, near several Balinese points of interest. The hotel�s resort style accommodation includes 95 superior rooms, 25 deluxe cottages, 4 junior villas, 4 suite villas (incorporating private pool), and 1 presidential suite.
