Mr. Syah brings to the post international experience, having held senior management positions with a number of international hotel chains, - including the Inter-Continental Group, Hilton Group and a series of independent hotels including the Ciputra Hotel in Jakarta, and Swiss Belhotel, - throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Mr. Syah is no newcomer to Sol Meliá since his first Asian posting to Indonesia before joining Sol Meliá as Rooms Division Manager at Sol Meliá�s Asia flagship property, the Gran Meliá Jakarta.

An Indonesian national, Mr. Syah gained his professional training from Cornell University.
