Mr. Mayer, 43, will begin his duties at ClubCorp on April 24, 2000. He most recently served as CFO of Bristol Hotels and Resorts in Dallas, a position he held from 1996 until that Company�s acquisition by Bass PLC earlier this year. Prior to joining Bristol, Mr. Mayer was Controller at Host Marriott Corporation (NYSE:HMT) and, prior to that, held various senior financial positions at Marriott Corporation. A graduate of the College of William Mary, Mr. Mayer began his career as an accountant with Arthur Andersen LLP.
