Prior to joining Telman, McPhail spent over nineteen years in finance, management and consulting services. He replaces Telman's founder Daniel Prosser, who will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO.

Prior to Telman, McPhail served as President of Future University, a subsidiary of Service Experts Inc. and trained over 300 companies in the United States in sales, marketing, and management expertise. Before running Future University, McPhail was General Manager of Landmark Education where he consulted thousands of individuals in personal effectiveness and behavioral transformation. McPhail started his career at Schulse, Hartwig and Richter Certified Public Accountants and then founded his own firm and consulted numerous companies and individuals in tax, auditing and financial matters. McPhail has also served on the board of various non-profit organizations. A native of Texas, McPhail attended Texas A&M University and graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a B.A. in Accounting. McPhail is a Certified Public Accountant.
