WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Dec. 17, 1999 - The Four Points Hotels
by Sheraton family grew to 115
full-service properties with the addition of Four Points Hotel Cleveland South, Four Points Hotel Cincinnati Northeast and Four Points Hotel St. Louis West. A just completed $13.3 million enhancement, upgrade and renovation � by owner and management company Sabre Hospitality Management, Inc., an affiliate of GF Management, Inc. � preceded the raising of the Four Points Hotels standard over the three former Harley hotels. Each of these new Four Points Hotels sit on 10 - 12 acres of landscaped
grounds�ideal for corporate picnics, social receptions and tented events�and
feature such recreational facilities as indoor and outdoor swimming pools,
tennis courts and shuffle board. The properties also offer all Four Points
Hotels brand standard facilities such as a fitness and exercise center,
full meeting, conference and catering facilities, and restaurants and room
The opening of Four Points Hotel St. Louis West marks an additional milestone in brand history: the first Four Points Hotel in the State of Missouri (the 33rd U.S. State to offer Four Points hospitality). The Cincinnati Northeast and Cleveland South properties bring the total number of Four Points Hotels in Ohio to six. Four Points Hotels by Sheraton is the mid-scale brand of Starwood Hotels Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT). Since opening the first Four Points Hotel by Sheraton in Greensburg, Pennsylvania little more than four years ago, the brand has expanded to 115 hotels and 21,187 rooms in ten countries around the world. Sabre Hospitality Management, Inc., an affiliate of GF Management, Inc operates 43 hotels and more than 4,600 guestrooms including the Four Points Hotel Rochester New York.
