has redesigned its Web site at http://www.hotelview.com
with a new look, destination videos and the addition of travel tools to
simplify trip planning. A wholly owned subsidiary of Visual Data
Corporation (NASDAQ:VDAT), HotelView�s site also now includes banner advertising
and gives viewers the option of choosing between RealPlayer or Windows
Media at speeds of 56, 100 or 300.
Viewers can still enjoy watching high-quality streaming video tours of some of the world�s leading hotels, but will have the added benefits of trip planning amenities at their fingertips. The �Travel Tools� section of the Web site includes a travel calendar, estimated driving distances, currency exchange converter and expense calculator. In addition, there is a listing of Internet links to top hotel chains, airlines, automobile rental companies, travel agents and other travel-related sites. �Highlighted Destination Video� at the bottom of the homepage features sightseeing tours of vacation hotspots including hotels, attractions, golf courses and recreation. HotelView created the concept of �destination bundling� for its travel channel sites on Yahoo! Broadcast.com, Road Runner and Snap.com. Currently on the HotelView site, viewers can take video tours of Jamaica, San Francisco and Hawaii and South Florida. HotelView is best known for producing high-quality hotel videos for the Internet that bring potential guests inside the hotel for an in-depth property tour. The videos, which can be accessed from a variety of sites linked through HotelView�s vast distribution network, can be translated into multiple languages to reach a global audience.
