and CEO, Mr Brian Deeson announced that Bill Barnett has been appointed
as Vice President - Operations, Asia. In this role, he will be overseeing
hotel operations for all of Century�s Asian properties outside Hong Kong.
Century International Hotels currently manages 21 properties in six countries.
In his seven years with the company, Bill Barnett has been posted
in Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India and Hong Kong in various
senior positions. These included responsibilities such as General Manager
in hotel operations, overseeing new developments and asset management.
During his tenure he has been instrumental in developing the group�s
network in the Philippines, while serving there as Area Director.
With over 14 years experience in Asia, he was the first American hotel
General Manager to work in post-war Vietnam.
Century International Hotels currently manages 21 hotels and resorts
in six Asian countries - Hong Kong SAR, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia
and the Philippines. Opening 2000 in Singapore will be the
530-room Century Roxy Park Hotel Singapore. |
