Jacqueline Four Sanders Named Hotel Manager and
Kathleen A. Scimeme as Director of Sales & Marketing
at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park

NEW YORK (September 2003) � Rick Evanich, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park has announced the appointment of two new executives to key positions in the hotel�s management team. 

Jacqueline Four Sanders returns to The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as hotel manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park after positions as resident manager at the Hotel Plaza-Athenee in New York City and as rooms division manager at The Rihga Royal Hotel.  She was previously with The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta; the former Ritz-Carlton, New York (now the Intercontinental); and The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island.  Her experience spans a wide range of positions from sales manager and club concierge to rooms division manager and resident manager over her 13 years of experience managing hotel operations at luxury properties.

Kathleen A. Scimeme has been named director of sales & marketing of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, a position that she had held at the RIHGA Royal New York, a JW Marriott Hotel, since 2001.  She brings extensive hospitality experience to the position, including a 25-year tenure with Marriott International.  Ms. Scimeme�s forte lies in building effective sales strategies and in developing customer relationships, and she is well versed in the development of marketing, sales and catering programs.  At RIHGA Royal New York, she was instrumental in the transition of the hotel to a JW Marriott property, successfully increasing revenues and growing the business traveler market.  Ms. Scimeme is active in both professional and community organizations such as the Association of Corporate Travel Executives and the Girl Scouts of America.
