Cheryl Shipe Appointed General Manager of
The Club at Big Bear Village

BIG BEAR LAKE, CA � August 2003 � Cheryl Shipe has been appointed general manager of The Club at Big Bear Village, Southern California�s first independent PRC.  Shipe will be responsible for the executive management of the fractional ownership of the 26 three-bedroom and 32 four- bedroom European-country style chateaus.

�Cheryl�s hospitality expertise is the perfect complement to The Club at Big Bear Village�, says Tom Johnson, CEO of The Alderwood Resort Management Company, appointed to oversee operations of The Club.  Her dynamic

Prior to joining The Club, Shipe was general manager of Outrigger Lodging Services in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she managed mixed-use property, including hotel, condominiums and timeshare units.  Shipe�s tenure with Outrigger also included serving as the rooms division manager at their Sedona, Arizona family resort.

Shipe has also held positions as convention sales manager and director of front office services for Westcoast Hotels in Spokane, Washington and director of homeowner relations at Spring Creek Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  She was responsible for the group markets of the full-service convention hotels and the operational direction of the resort.
