A 20-year hospitality veteran, Susser began his hospitality career at the Hilton New York.  From 1983 to 1997, he ascended to top food and beverage and marketing leadership positions at Hilton, Stouffer® and Marriott® full-service hotels across the Northeast U.S. 

In his most recent role as assistant general manager, Susser was tasked with a variety of special assignments for the Doubletree brand.  Most notably, he was the transition task force leader for the recently acquired Doubletree Guest Suites SouthPark in Charlotte and supported the Doubletree Hotel in Tysons Corner, Va. for several months as interim general manager. 

A native of Rumson, New Jersey, Susser holds an A.O.S. in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America and a BA in Business Administration from Denver University.
