| PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (7/29/03) � Callaway� is proud
to announce the appointment of Perry Grice as director of sales.
In this position, Grice will oversee the day-to-day operations of group sales and conference services for The Resort at Callaway�, which includes more than 96,000 square feet of meeting space and three distinct types of lodging totaling more than 800 rooms. A staff of 22 will report directly to him. �Callaway has so much to offer in the way of amenities and activities that any group is a potential customer,� said Grice. �I�m excited about maximizing our efforts, enhancing Callaway�s exposure in every possible market and filling these rooms.� Grice comes to Callaway from the Georgia State Park Lodges where he served as the regional director of sales for the North Georgia area. Most recently he was the director of sales for the State Park Lodge Retreat at Lake Blackshear in Cordele, GA. Perry has also worked for several locations of Renaissance Hotels and Resorts; Hilton Sandestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL; Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC; and PGA Holiday Inn in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. �Perry�s experience in both larger and smaller properties will be an asset to our sales team,� said Joe Henry, director of operations for The Resort at Callaway. Grice, his wife Gail and their children, Allen and Shelby, will reside in LaGrange, GA. |
