SANTA MONICA, CALIF. � July 2003 � Daniel Howery has been named general
manager of The Ambrose, a uniquely crafted Santa Monica hotel which opened
May 3, 2003. Howery will be responsible for the executive management
of the 77-room hotel that blends Craftsman style inspiration with an Asian
influence.
An active member in professional and community organizations, Howery has served on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Restaurant Association, Lincoln Symphony Association, Buena Park Boys & Girls Club, and Buena Park Youth Theatre. Michael Gutierrez named Director of Sales for The Ambrose Gutierrez earned a degree in Business Communications and has held several top positions in hospitality sales, public relations and marketing. Prior to joining The Ambrose, Gutierrez�s various positions included Business Travel Sales Manager at the Melrose Hotel in Dallas, Texas; Public Relations and Sales Coordinator at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, and Group Coordinator/Sales Assistant at the Mansion on Turtle Creek/Hotel Crescent Court. �Michael�s sales and marketing approach is the perfect complement to The Ambrose,� says Owner Deirdre Wallace.
