another way that our owners, the Hardy family, strive to provide the ultimate
resort experience.
The interior renovations included thirty-two guestrooms and the public
space as well. In the new classic English country cottage style, the design
is rich in color, texture and pattern.
The original Lodge Lobby, now the Hardy Lobby, welcomes resort guests
with a large stone hearth that commands the room. Original oil paintings
and antiques are beautifully arranged throughout the lobby and public space.
Although rustic in theme, it maintains a look of gracious sophistication.
Soft chenille fabrics and rich leathers are found throughout the lobby
and the guestrooms. Rugs and carpets were custom-designed for the
Lodge and have rich warm tones of rust, gold, green and blue. In the guestrooms,
glowing colors and beautiful patterns in print fabrics establish a familiar
feeling and reinforce the warm welcome established in the lobby.
Fabrics and case goods were custom-designed for these rooms and are residential
in feel. Beautiful lamps and lovely framed prints adorn each room.
Each bed has soft down blankets and pillows. The well-appointed baths
are spacious and welcoming. |
