Gets $101,600 per Room

 

New York, NY � May 16, 2003 � The 124-room Days Inn Historic District in Charleston, South Carolina, was recently sold by an institutional investor to private investor M & M, LLC in a transaction valued at approximately $12.6 million.  Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners was the owner�s exclusive representative in this sale.  Dipan Patel and Robert Taylor, senior managing directors of Insignia, oversaw the marketing and disposition of the asset.

The two-story, exterior-corridor Days Inn was built in 1961.  The hotel � at 155 Meeting Street � is located two blocks from City Market and in the center of the main retail district.  Charleston is one of top Southeast tourist destinations.
