HSMAI/NYU Strategy Conference

HSMAI and NYU will organize a special HSMAI Executive THINK session where industry experts will summarize forecasts for 2004.  The ability of the industry to have this information before finalizing their individual 2004 Marketing Plans is vital to the development of successful sales strategies for the future.
 

HSMAI 75th Anniversary Gala Event

HSMAI is celebrating the culmination of its 75 years with a gala dinner honoring industry celebrities and association leaders of the past and present, as well as publishing a book that will chart the course of HSMAI and the industry back to 1927.  The gala dinner and commemorative book are sponsored by the HSMAI Foundation.  Contributions to the book are a tax-deductible expense.

HSMAI/Leadership Synergies: 
Strategic Account Management Seminars
Sales professionals will find a wealth of training resources dedicated to Strategic Account Management as part of a joint venture between HSMAI and sales and leadership performance-improvement company Leadership Synergies, LLC.   Throughout 2003, a series of innovative skill development courses will be held nationwide specifically for national account managers.  Remaining seminars

�Selling in Uncertain Times� 
Summer Series Partnership with HSA In conjunction with HSA, Howard Feiertag, a 30-year industry expert, educator and noted author, will present a summer workshop series titled �Selling in Uncertain Times� where he will offer insights, perspectives, tips and suggestions that hotel sales people can incorporate into their daily activities in order to advance their effectiveness and to drive their productivity.  Topics to be covered include the Expected Marketing Environment, Developing the Best Prospects, the Selling Process, Negotiate to Your Best Advantage, and Contracts and Agreements.  Dates, cities and venues are as follows:
