The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Selects Delphi TM v9.1
As Its Global Standard for Group Sales &
Catering Software

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. / MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD. � APRIL 1, 2003 � Newmarket International�s DelphiTM v9.1 is the new global standard for group Sales & Catering technology at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C.

Newmarket International�s Delphi Multi-Property Edition will connect 41 Ritz-Carlton properties (comprising 14,000 guestrooms and 1 million square feet of meeting space) in The Americas, as well as 11 International Sales Offices, through a centralized database enabling availability searches across all properties and cross-selling throughout this prestigious group of hotels. In addition, three
Ritz-Carlton properties in EMEA will separately deploy Delphi v9.1. The 44 Ritz-Carlton properties will utilize both Computer Based Training and on-site instructor-lead training and will implement Newmarket International�s NetDataTM Analysis reporting tools.

The majority of Ritz-Carlton �s 51 managed properties currently operate using the company�s proprietary catering solution, MiracleTM � which was custom designed for the company when it had a portfolio of five properties, but is not ideally suited for the enterprise-wide Sales & Catering needs of an international management company with 10 times that number of properties. Angelucci said the plan is to eventually outfit all 51 Ritz-Carlton managed properties with Delphi Multi-Property Edition v9.1.
