Ramada Inn University Conference Center in Tucson

LOS ANGELES, CA � June 17, 2002 - Vagabond Franchise System, Inc. today announced the addition of its first property in Arizona.  The newly flagged Vagabond Plaza Hotel is located in Tucson�s University District.

Formerly a Ramada Inn, the property 


Vagabond Plaza Hotel 
is located at 1601 N. Oracle Road and offers 196 guest rooms and suites, junior Olympic swimming pool, six acres of lush grounds, and meeting and banquet space for gatherings of up to 300 people.  Additional amenities and services include complimentary full American breakfast buffet, free airport shuttle, a fitness room, and onsite restaurant and lounge.  Oracle Innkeepers, LLC owns the hotel.

Bruce Weitzman, Vagabond�s vice president of franchise development commented on the newest addition to the brand saying, �We are very pleased to have this property join the Vagabond Franchise System and establish our physical presence in Arizona.  The Vagabond brand is well known throughout the West.  Several parties have expressed interest in other Arizona locations.�
