| Greenbelt, MD -- June 29, 2002 - Coakley & Williams Hotel Management
Company has appointed Paul Cooper as its Director of Development.
In his new position, Mr. Cooper�s primary responsibility will be increasing
the portfolio of quality hotels managed by CWHMC. To date, Coakley
& Williams operates 22 hotels in 8 states and the District of Columbia
with multiple franchises that include: Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday
Inn, Sheraton, Wingate Inn, Days Inn, Comfort Inn, Quality Suites, and
Sleep Inn.
Paul Cooper brings over 12 years of experience in the hotel business. A graduate of Old Dominion University, Paul began his career as a General Manager with Wilson Hotel Management Company for hospitality legend Kemmons Wilson. He later served as a Director of Franchise Sales and Development for Hawthorn Suites Hotels in the Mid and South Atlantic regions. Prior to joining Coakley & Williams, Mr. Cooper was employed with Criimi Mae Services, L.P., a Real Estate Investment Trust located in Rockville, MD. As an REO Asset Manager, Cooper was involved in managing all foreclosed upon hotel assets for CMSLP, as well as, providing consulting services on a portfolio of defaulted hotel loans totaling over $490 million. In speaking of his new role, Mr. Cooper said, �I am grateful for the opportunity to join this experienced and well respected hotel organization.
