Dolce Appoints Management Team at
PGA National Resort & Spa;
Ron Vuy Named General Manager

Montvale, NJ, June 2002 - On April 1, 2002, Dolce International, the global leader in learning through meetings and leisure, took over management of Mobil Four Star, PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and after a short transition period, is very proud to introduce the enhanced and dynamic strategic team of PGA National Resort & Spa under the leadership of Ron Vuy. 
      
Ron Vuy, newly appointed general manager, brings with him many years of experience in various hospitality and management positions. A native of New Jersey, Vuy's impressive career history includes Marriott Hotels; his last position at Boston Copley Place was Opening Resident Manager, The San Luis Resort & Conference Center in Galveston, TX and Benchmark Hospitality. Prior to his appointment at PGA National Resort & Spa, he was Vice President & General Manager at Resort at Squaw Creek in California. 
      
Joining the team as Director of Sales & Marketing is Fred Edson, whose previous position was Director of Hotel Sales and Services for Colonial Williamsburg Company -Hospitality Group. No stranger to PGA National Resort & Spa, he was their National Sales Manager in the early 90's. Fred has 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has focused the last 12 in conference sales for prestigious properties such as Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, the Resorts at Kiawah Island, SC, and The Breakers in Palm Beach.
      
Cedric Fasbender, a graduate of the Bavaria Hotelberufsfachschule (Bavaria Hospitality Institute) and Washington State University majoring in Hotel Administration, Cedric, like his new team, has an impressive and long track record in the hospitality industry. He started his career with Sheraton Corporation in various positions from Banquet Manager to Food and Beverage Director for the Sheraton San Marcos Golf Resort. He then moved to the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA, in the same capacity, and was Assistant General Manager at Dolce Heritage, Southbury, CT and Tarrytown House in Tarrytown, NY, before joining the PGA National Resort & Spa Team as Resort Manager.
      
George Bentley, CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), has 17 years of experience in Convention Management, Catering, Banquet and Food & Beverage. He worked in a variety of catering position in Florida; Hilton at Walt Disney World Village, Lake Buena Vista, Crown Plaza Resort at Hilton Head, SC and Tradewinds Resort in St. Petersburg, FL, where he received the Trade Winds Corporate Manager of the Year Award in 1998. As Director of Catering & Conference Services, George is responsible for directing all catering/conference services for the Resort & Spa.
      
Joseph Orichiella will bring a new level of excitement to the eight restaurants and catering facilities at PGA National Resort & Spa as Director of Food & Beverage. A 21-year veteran in Food and Beverage, Joseph has excellent leadership skills and is knowledgeable in all aspects of food and beverage. He gained his extensive experience at various Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz- Carlton Huntington Hotel and his last position prior to joining PGA National Resort & Spa, was Director of Food and Beverage at Oak Book Hills Resort and Conference Center in Oak Brook Illinois, part of the Dolce International portfolio of conference destinations.
      
Although originally from the New York region with a background in Occupational Studies, Court Hearing & Convention Reporting as well as Travel & Tourism, Lois Romano has spent most of her career in Florida as Director of Human Resources. She worked at prestigious resorts such as The Breakers in Palm Beach and Jupiter Beach Resort in Jupiter, FL, and has been with PGA National Resort & Spa in this capacity since 1996.
      
John Gardner, Director of Golf, oversees the resort golf and sports facilities, including the prestigious Academy of Golf. He is a well-known and respected member of the golf community and has served at PGA National Golf Club in this capacity since 1990. Prior to joining PGA National Resort & Spa, Gardner was Director of Operations for Arnold Palmer Golf Management Company with responsibilities for properties worldwide. He also served for two years as the director of Golf at the Tournament Players Club in Colorado. 
      
The driving force behind the hugely popular Spa at PGA National Resort is Margaret Byrnes. As Spa Director, Margaret oversees the daily operation of the resort's multi-million-spa facility, which is currently undergoing major renovations. In addition to consulting for the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo, Egypt, her impressive career includes management positions at The Four Seasons Resort & Club in Dallas, Texas and the Gurneys Inn Resort & Spa in Long Island, NY. 
      
Most of Daniel Duggan's career was spent in the hotel and resort industry where he has held various positions from Controller to Corporate Controller. Prior to joining PGA National Resort & Spa as Controller in December 2001, he was Chief Financial Officer of SunCruz Casinos. With two years at Doral Resorts and another two at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Daniel understands the complexity of, and is fully versed in all aspects of the financial services division at a multifaceted resort like PGA National Resort & Spa.
