Shilo Inn's 1st Quarter RevPAR Declines 7.7%;
Out Performs Most U.S. Lodging Brands
PORTLAND, OR - April 25, 2002 - Shilo Inns continues to out perform most of the Hospitality industry, according to 1st Quarter results released today. The well maintained and respected diversified brand of 47 limited and full service hotels and resorts recorded one of the best 1st Quarters reported in the industry with RevPAR off only 7.7%. Some publicly held hotel companies have reported declines in the range of 10% to 17% across the United States for the first quarter. 
 
Jim McCulloch, Chief Operating Officer, states "As a privately owned company, Shilo has historically not released actual occupancy and ADR results.  However, the 1st quarter results show an occupancy decline of 13.3%,  with an ADR increase of 6.6%."

Shilo is actively looking for compatible acquisition candidate properties.  The last acquisition was the Gresham

Mid-month April 2002 RevPAR is trending up nicely with a modest .7% increase over 2001 which further demonstrates the customer vote of confidence enjoyed by Shilo Inns.
