Waikoloa Colony Villas to be Managed by
ASTON Hotels & Resorts Hawaii

April 2002 - Visitors to the Big Islands Kohala Coast will soon have a new luxury lodging option for their vacations. Waikoloa Colony Villas, to be managed by ASTON Hotels & Resorts Hawaii, will feature two-story resort condominiums with up to 2,000 square feet of living space. The property, which has already broken ground and is scheduled to open model rooms in late summer/early fall, will join ASTONs other luxury resort condominium in Waikoloa Resort, The Shores at Waikoloa.

The addition of Waikoloa Colony Villas to ASTONs portfolio enhances our position as the leader in upscale resort condominiums in Hawaii and complements the 20,000 suites, villas, homes and chalets available in the U.S. and Canada that are managed by our parent company, ResortQuest, said Kelvin Bloom, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of ASTON.

Waikoloa Colony Villas, situated on 22 acres, will be clustered in a series of intimate courtyards fronting the 15th fairway of the championship Beach Course. The spacious two- and three-bedroom units will feature gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, expansive living areas with vaulted ceilings and tastefully decorated with island-style furnishings, central air, large lanais perfect for entertaining, in-room washer/dryers, fully enclosed garages and private entrances. Units also offer spectacular 360-degree views from the sometimes snow-covered upcountry mountain slopes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa to vast aqua blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean.

Among the property amenities will include a central pool, an outdoor barbecue area and golf discounts at the nearby Waikoloa courses. Waikoloa Resort visitors also enjoy a wide variety of activities at the 1,350-acre resort, including the Kings' Shops dining, shopping and entertainment complex, two golf courses the Kings' Course and the Beach Course, preserved cultural sites, a first-class beach, water sports facilities, and many other activities.
