Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur Renovates and
Opens Pacific Lounge 24 Hours a Day
10 Dec 2001 - The Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur is proud to announce its latest edition to the hotel, the Pacific Lounge. The renovation works to convert one of the hotel's suites into the Lounge started in June this year. This exercise, amounting to nearly RM1.3 million, has been completed and will be officially launched on November 1, 2001. 
 
The lounge will be exclusively for guests staying at the Pacific Floor, which are rooms located at level 28 to level 30. Guests will have access to the Pacific Lounge any time of the day. 

The General Manager of The Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Christo Diamandopoulos said that the floor will be managed by some of the best associates chosen by the hotel's management. "The team who will be servicing the Pacific Floor has been given an intensive training to ensure that they deliver personalised service and individual care and service to each and every guest here," he added.

Located at the 30th floor, this 1,000 square metre lounge will come complete with a personalised check-in / check-out reception, television area, private meeting room, comfortable armchairs, mini library and a dramatic wall of windows to capture the panoramic views of the breathtaking Kuala Lumpur's skyline.

"Unlike other conventional hotel lounges, the new Pacific Lounge will be accessible 24 hours a day, just like an airport lounge, by using the room card. This will be handy for guests who feel like having a snack or a drink at odd hours due to jet-lack for instance. Also for those who might want to come to our computer rooms in the middle of the night to drop e-mails to relatives and friends or browse through the Internet," Diamandopoulos said.

Buffet breakfast and evening cocktails with hors d'ouevres will also be served at the Pacific Lounge. By having this service, guests at the Pacific Floor will be able to enjoy a comfortable comprehensive service minus the queuing.
