ST. LOUIS, July 11, 2001 - Gerald Wolsborn has joined Adam's Mark Hotels
& Resorts as general manager of the Dallas hotel.
With more than 25 years management experience in the hotel industry,
Wolsborn will manage the daily operations of the luxury hotel chain's Dallas
location. The Adam's Mark in Dallas has over 1,800 guest rooms and
230,000 square feet of meeting space, making it the largest hotel in the
state. Wolsborn succeeds Danna Holck, who held the position on an
interim basis while the search for a new general manager was conducted.
"Gerald's extensive hotel management experience will be invaluable in continuing to build the Adam's Mark brand within the region and the industry," said Fred S. Kummer, president and CEO of Adam's Mark Hotels & Resorts. Wolsborn received his bachelor of arts in hotel and restaurant management from Washington State University. He has been active in many industry and community associations, most recently serving as commissioner and member of the marketing committee for the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau.
