   Gerald Wolsborn Named General Manager at 
the 1,800 Room Adam's Mark in Dallas
ST. LOUIS, July 11, 2001 - Gerald Wolsborn has joined Adam's Mark Hotels & Resorts as general manager of the Dallas hotel.  

With more than 25 years management experience in the hotel industry, Wolsborn will manage the daily operations of the luxury hotel chain's Dallas location.  The Adam's Mark in Dallas has over 1,800 guest rooms and 230,000 square feet of meeting space, making it the largest hotel in the state.  Wolsborn succeeds Danna Holck, who held the position on an interim basis while the search for a new general manager was conducted.  
 

Prior to joining Adam's Mark, Wolsborn served as general manager for the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel in Palo Alto, Calif., and as vice president/ managing director for La Mansion Del Rio Hotel in San Antonio, Tex.  Wolsborn has held management positions with numerous Westin properties, including the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, the Westin Seattle, the Ilikai and Wailea Beach

Wolsborn received his bachelor of arts in hotel and restaurant management from Washington State University.  He has been active in many industry and community associations, most recently serving as commissioner and member of the marketing committee for the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau.
