The fast track project involves construction from the ground up of a nineteen story, four-star, full service luxury hotel.  S&F Concrete, using an innovative and highly portable forming system, was able to transform a fairly constrained site into an extremely efficient operation, pumping concrete for shear walls, columns, and slabs up the full height of the building.  With the superstructure of the building complete, the shoring posts that support the structural slabs during the curing process can be removed from the building, allowing the remaining trades free access to the raw floors.  The cast-in-place concrete structure will feature classic exterior façade materials of brick and limestone that will offset the

NINE ZERO Topping Off Tuesday, August 21, 2001 90 Tremont Street, Boston Suffolk Construction workers celebrate the topping off of NINE ZERO, Boston's new luxury hotel scheduled to open in Spring 2002..  With the Suffolk team, standing on the top 19th floor of the hotel, which has panoramic view of Boston and Cambridge, owners / developers Peter and Paul Palandjian are center stage along with NINE ZERO general manager, Janne Hurley Clare.

�The topping off of NINE ZERO represents a significant milestone in the construction of this ground-up development,� said Paul L. It is expected that guests to the hotel will be comprised of approximately 60% business travelers, 25% leisure travelers and 15% group travel.  Two model rooms have been constructed at the NINE ZERO pre-opening sales office located at 343 Congress Street in Boston, offering future guests the opportunity to view the hotel room design, layout and amenities.
