Ze-Net Technologies Completes
Technical Phase of Broadband
BETA Test
--
Richardson, Texas, May 11, 2001 - Ze-Net Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has completed the first phase of a two-part BETA test of their ze-nettm high speed Internet Access system at the Hawthorn Suites Hotel - North Dallas.  The successful test, which began on March 15, 2001, included multiple system component evaluations, the PMS interface and the establishment of the operational procedures.  "Our goal was to provide a plug-and-play high speed Internet access solution" said Ze-Net President Randall Jamison, "and from the overwhelmingly positive comments we've had from the guests and staff, we have achieved our goal at the Hawthorn Suites!"

The ze-nettm High-Speed Internet Access system, which is customized to best utilize the hotel's existing cable wherever possible, is designed to give the hotel complete control over both their current and future broadband and Internet based features and services.  "Our systems are very flexible and can be configured utilizing either Ethernet or DSL technology or a combination of both when necessary, to achieve a high level of service for each customer" said Mr. Jamison, "We conduct a survey at each site and then propose the ze-nettm system that provides the best and most cost effective broadband infrastructure solution."

The owners of the Hawthorn Suites had the foresight to install a separate cable system in the hotel to accommodate a broadband solution while it was under construction.  They also made the decision that retaining ownership and control over their broadband-based communications future would be in their best interest and found that their philosophy matched what Ze-Net Technologies is offering very nicely.  "We wanted a High-Speed Internet Access vendor that could provide a fully integrated system and the support we need to maximize its value to the hotel.  The Technology phase of our test has gone very smoothly, and I fully expect the Operational phase to go even better, stated Jeff Raithel, Vice President, DPH Investors Ltd., owners of the Hawthorn Suites Hotel - North Dallas.

The ze-nettm High-Speed Internet Access system has been developed to provide Internet access speeds from 50 to 200 times faster than dial-up connections over distances up to several thousand feet, without cross talk or interference, using the hotel's existing cable wherever possible.  Ze-Net Technologies, Inc., provides 24X7 guest and staff support, highly effective marketing support and a powerful competitive edge for its customers as well as control over their revenue and future broadband-based opportunities.  The system is designed to deliver much more than the high speed Internet access "amenity" today.  It is designed to provide the broadband
