Michele Phillips, Former Senior Architect at Disneyland 
Resorts, Joins Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo
May 2001, HONOLULU � Michele Phillips, AIA, has joined Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG) as director of interior design for the firm�s Honolulu office.  Phillips is a registered architect with 20 years of experience managing and designing projects in the hospitality industry�most recently with Disneyland Resorts.

Internationally renowned for hospitality, leisure and entertainment architecture, WATG expanded the scope of its services a year ago when it added interior design capabilities in each of its offices�Honolulu,

Newport Beach, Los Angeles, London and Singapore.  �As our interiors work grows firm-wide, we are very pleased to have Michele Phillips assume the leadership of Honolulu�s interior design group,� states Ron Holecek, WATG president and CEO.  �Her experience with Disney�and the high regard she�s earned from clients, colleagues and co-workers�makes Michele a valued member of the WATG team.�  

Prior to her position as senior architect at Disneyland Resorts, where she led the design compliance efforts for Disney�s California Adventure Theme Park, Michele Phillips was president of Interior Design Associates in Honolulu.  She also spent several years as director of interior design for the local offices of Leo A. Daly Company and Robert C. Smelker AIA & Associates.  Michele graduated from California State University in Long Beach.  She is registered as an architect in Hawaii and California.
