 Three European Hotels Flagged 
Four Points by Sheraton

 
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., April 27, 2001 - Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT - news) announces the addition of three new Four Points by Sheraton hotels in Rome, Milan and Nice.

Four Points by Sheraton Roma West

A 240-room new construction in Rome, Four Points by Sheraton, Roma West, is conveniently located within 10 minutes� drive of Rome�s EUR business satellite city and within a 20 minute drive of each of Rome�s two airports and the City Center. The hotel will have a total of 240 keys, including 18 suites, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a restaurant, a bar and 12 banqueting and meeting rooms for a total of up to 700 people and is scheduled to open in June 2001.

Four Points by Sheraton Royal Milan Center

Located in Italy�s major business and financial, this 205-room hotel has 10 suites, a restaurant, bar, fitness center and 9 meeting rooms able to accommodate up to 460 people. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Milan�s central railway station and steps from Piazza della Repubblica.

Four Points by Sheraton Elysee Palace Nice

In Nice, France, Starwood has entered into an agreement with Interhotels, SA, 

 a management affiliate of the Royal Monceau Group for the operation of the Four Points by Sheraton, Elysee Palace Nice. This 143-room hotel is located just off the Promenade des Anglais, steps from the beach and all other attractions of this fabulous destination in the French Riviera. Facilities include 20 suites including 2 presidential suites, a restaurant, a bar, a total of 250 square meters of banqueting and meeting rooms and a breathtaking roof-top swimming pool 
Four Points by Sheraton Elysee Palace Nice, formerly Hotel Melia Elysee-Palace
overlooking the Mediterranean coastline and sea.
