13 June 2001: On the eve of Accor's 10th anniversary of operating in
Australia, the Chairman of Accor Asia Pacific, Mr David Baffsky, has been
recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours by being made an Officer in
the General Division of the Order of Australia.

"The tourism industry deserves recognition for its contribution to employment and foreign income generation, and I'm glad I've been able to make my contribution to the industry over the past decade." Accor is the worldwide leader in travel, tourism and corporate services, employing 140,000 employees in 140 countries. |
