June 12, 2001 - The Andersen Hotel Industry Benchmark Survey � Caribbean
and Latin America is launched with first quarter 2001 data. A summary of
the performance of the selected markets is set out below.
Andersen, the global professional services firm and leading provider of hotel performance data outside North America today announced the launch of the Caribbean and Latin American edition of the Andersen Hotel Industry Benchmark Survey with the release of first quarter hotel performance results. This, the newest in Andersen�s suite of surveys, complements and enhances the existing monthly regional hotel performance reports published for Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with in-depth country/city reports for Australia, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and London. The Caribbean and Latin America hotel industry benchmark survey will track performance across 17 markets, and will be the only hotel performance survey of its kind available to participating hoteliers.
