Mr. Korfman�s gaming career spans
over 30 years. Before accepting the general manager position at the
Edgewater, Korfman served as general manager of the Gold Strike Inn and
Casino in Boulder City from 1979 to 1998.
Prior to that he served as general manager of the Western Village in
Mesquite, Nevada (now Si Redd�s Oasis) from 1977 to 1979. Prior to
1977, Mr. Korfman held positions at the Hilton Hotel, the Dunes Hotel and
the Flamingo Hilton. As general manager for the Edgewater, Mr. Korfman
will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Laughlin property.

today announced management changes for two of the company�s properties
in Southern Nevada. The changes are effective as of March 15, 2001.
Curtis Jacks, who
currently was the General Manager at the Nevada Landing in Jean, Nevada,
is transferring to the Colorado Belle in Laughlin, Nevada as General Manager.
Mr. Jacks joined the company in June of 1995 when Mandalay Resort Group,
then Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc., acquired Gold Strike Resorts.
Mr. Jacks had been with Gold Strike Resorts since 1987 where he held a
variety of management positions.
The company also announced that Linda
Heptner will replace Curtis
Jacks as General Manager at the Nevada Landing. Ms. Heptner originally
joined the company in 1972 and has held management positions at Circus
Circus, Excalibur and Luxor. Most recently she served as the Credit/Cage
Manager at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
�Both Mr. Jacks and Ms. Heptner have extensive experience
in the gaming industry,� said Gregg Solomon, Senior Vice President for
