ORLANDO, Fla., April 2001-The Educational Institute

Presidents Academy XX will be held January 30-February 2, 2002, at the

Academy has been known as the most powerful gathering of hospitality industry
presidents, CEOs, and chairmen in the world.
Next year will be no exception and will be enhanced by the scheduling of the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) to be held February 3-5, 2002, at the Renaissance Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles. This event will bring together leading experts and investors to discuss important trends and identify new hospitality investment opportunities. Proceeds from ALIS will benefit the Educational Institute and the American Hotel & Lodging Foundation. These programs fit hand-in-glove, stated Anthony G. Marshall, president and CEO of the Educational Institute. Absolutely a perfect opportunity for the leaders of our industry to get the best bang for their time and travel buck, he continued. Summit chairman Jim Burba of Burba Hotel Network agreed. With the programs back to back and only 90 miles down the Pacific Coast Highway, this will be an excellent chance for industry leadership to attend both the Academy and Summit-an unprecedented opportunity. Established in 1953 as a nonprofit educational foundation of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Educational Institute is the premier source for quality hospitality education, training, and professional certification, serving and needs and advancing the excellence of hospitality schools and industries worldwide. |
