Board of Directors Member Molly Anderson, VP Sales at Canyon Ranch – a WTA co-founder – points out three reasons why anyone interested in the wellness tourism industry should attend:

  1. As travel resumes wellness will continue to be a top priority as so many more of us have come to realize the true importance of good health and wellbeing.

  2. Attendees will learn about new developments and new challenges and how others in the industry are responding and coping as the industry rebounds.

  3. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with others in the industry and learn from them.

Earlier this year, the Wellness Tourism Association announced a new membership model making the organization more accessible and more inclusive to those who meet the basic criteria set forth by the association, and with the goal of bringing standards to this growing global industry. As part of the new membership model, memberships fees were reduced, and a monthly newsletter, available free-of-charge to all industry stakeholders and those interested in the business of wellness travel, was launched. “By welcoming non-members to this new International Wellness Tourism Conference, the Wellness Tourism Association is reinforcing the industry movement to become more accessible and more inclusive,” says Dimon.
