Boca Raton, FL, February 2, 2018 — Waramaug Hospitality, a private investment group focused on acquiring legacy branded assets throughout the United States; today announced the completion of the $2 million renovation of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation. The renovation focused on all aspects of the property including guest rooms, public areas, and meeting rooms.

The renovation enhanced the entire hotel. Guest rooms received new carpet and window sheers. An updated Great Room with an enclosed buffet separating the breakfast area to meet the new IHG Formula Blue standards, which were designed to improve delivery on the brand’s commitment to meet guests changing needs while driving value for ownership. Public spaces received new carpet, lighting, vinyl and a new color scheme along with upgraded bathrooms. New soft goods and banquet chairs were upgraded in the meeting rooms. Exterior improvements included a new color scheme along with redone porte-cochere and landscaping. The Litt Group oversaw the renovation process.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plantation is located with convenient access to all the local area’s commercial business and residential areas as well as main thoroughfares such as the Sawgrass Mills Mall, Sawgrass Corporate Park, BB&T Center, and the Fort Lauderdale airport are all within a short driving distance. Adjacent to the hotel is the regional headquarters of Motorola and headquarters of high-technology company Magic Leap, along with the main offices of American Express, AT&T, and Nova Southeastern University.
