DENVER, CO. – March 1, 2018 – Two Roads Hospitality, the international lifestyle company featuring an unrivaled collection of truly individual hotels, resorts and vacation residences, has assumed management of Park South Hotel in New York City as part of its Joie de Vivre Hotels brand. The 131-key boutique hotel and culinary destination is situated in the city’s NoMad neighborhood on 28th Street between Park Avenue South and Lexington Avenue, steps from the iconic Madison Square Park and various cultural attractions.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Park South Hotel into our beloved Joie de Vivre collection as the brand’s second New York City property, following last year's highly-anticipated opening of Hotel 50 Bowery in Chinatown,” said Jamie Sabatier, Chief Executive Officer of Two Roads Hospitality. “Nestled within Manhattan’s trendy NoMad neighborhood, Park South Hotel is superbly located, giving our guests the opportunity to explore and discover another desirable, energized area of the city.”

The property completed a $20 million renovation in late 2015, unveiling updated, contemporary guestrooms and suites with stylish art-deco appeal – designed by Lisa Knight of ABI Interior Design – and completely redesigned restaurants and public areas, including the hotel’s inviting lobby, by CCS Architecture. In partnership with legendary New York City epicurean bookstore Kitchen Arts & Letters, Park South Hotel features a cozy library with a standout collection of limited edition and rare books from across the globe for guests, visitors and culinary enthusiasts to enjoy.

Park South Hotel offers four unique food and beverage concepts, led by husband-and-wife restauranteurs Tim and Nancy Cushman. For casual all-day dining, Covina offers a new American menu with influences from James Beard Award-winning Chef Tim Cushman’s early career in California. Celebrated, upscale Japanese restaurant o ya delights with inventive sushi and small bites, served a la carte and across an omakase-style menu. Also located on property is Covina Coffee Bar, a go-to neighborhood coffee spot offering select Counter Culture brews and on-the-go breakfast items, while popular seasonal rooftop bar Roof at Park South provides unobstructed views of the New York City skyline along with impeccable cocktails.

Centrally located in NoMad and Midtown Manhattan, Park South Hotel specializes in customized meetings and events with unique indoor and outdoor spaces. The inviting Private Dining Room, which can seat up to 40 guests, offers menus from both Covina and o ya. Eight stories up, Roof at Park South welcomes guests for both private and semi-private cocktail-style gatherings for up to 150 guests.
