Trust Hospitality Reopens Florida's Amara Cay Resort Following Renovation and Rebranding

MIAMI, March 12, 2015 -- Ushering in a new era in lodging in Islamorada, Amara Cay Resort, an upscale, boutique resort reopened to the public and welcomed its first guests following a multi-million dollar renovation.
The new resort, managed by Miami-based Trust Hospitality, evokes the subtropical essence of the Florida Keys, where the sun meets the shore. The resort's 110 guestrooms, all public spaces, meeting rooms, landscaping, retail space and restaurant are completely redesigned and thoughtfully appointed to draw travelers from all over the world.

From arrival to departure, Amara Cay's guest service is designed to be welcoming and distinctive, yet unpretentious. The lobby lounge echoes the historical beauty and charm of Islamorada by combining rustic textures, reclaimed wood and playful papasan chairs into a sense of unhurried comfort and social intimacy. Whether waiting for a dining reservation in the individual seating lounges near the front desk, or enjoying leisure time with friends in the communal area between the restaurant and pool, Amara Cay provides the perfect setting for making memories.
Playing into the open lobby layout, Amara Cay Resort's new restaurant, Oltremare Ristorante, provides an inviting and cozy environment for guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 60-seat restaurant includes a coastal Italian-inspired menu presented by Chef Dario Olivera. Fresh homemade pasta is prepared daily. Locally caught seafood and farm-grown produce is utilized throughout the menu. The Oltremare Bar offers premium wines, spirits and craft beer with an extensive cocktail list.
