(Feb. 26, 2019) — Timbers Resorts, a luxury hospitality brand known for its exceptional boutique hotels, residence clubs and resort communities located around the world, announces the appointment of Damon Kolb as Development Manager and Ryan Bell as Corporate Director of Asset Management. The new additions are part of Timbers Resorts’ exciting expansion plan, which kicked off in early December with the relocation of the company’s headquarters to Winter Park, FL. Damon and Ryan will help spearhead efforts to grow the brand into the country’s Eastern Seaboard as well as into the Caribbean and Europe.

“Securing the very best talent in our industry has always been a top priority, so we’re thrilled to bring on such high-quality professionals like Damon and Ryan,” said Greg Spencer, the CEO of Timbers Resorts. “We are confident that their respective expertise and proven track records of success will be instrumental to the continued growth of our brand. In his role as Development Manager, Damon Kolb will oversee the pre-development entitlement and design process for new Timbers properties. He joins Timbers Resorts from Mill Creek Residential, a leading multi-family developer, where he served as Vice President of Development and was responsible for managing all aspects of the development process. There, he managed site acquisition, design, entitlements, financing, construction, leasing and disposition of assets. Prior to that role, Damon served as a Development Associate with The Richman Group of Florida and as a County Planner in Palm Beach County. “Joining Timbers Resorts is a natural next step in my career,” said Damon. “I’m excited by the challenge to develop amazing resorts and residences that advance the brand’s world-class reputation.”

Ryan Bell, Timbers Resorts’ new Corporate Director of Asset Management, will provide corporate support to resort leadership, oversee portfolio performance and manage capital improvements planning and execution. Prior to this role, Ryan served as the Director of Asset Management for CNL Lifestyle Properties, a public non-traded Real Estate Investment Trust focused on resort and recreation investments. He was responsible for underwriting and closing new acquisitions as well as capital reinvestments across a diverse collection of real estate. He was key to building CNL’s asset management platform, which touted $2.9 billion in assets including 19 ski resorts, seven resort retail villages and four hospitality properties. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Finance and minor in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida.

“Timbers Resorts is highly regarded in the industry with a bold vision for luxury hospitality,” said Ryan. “I’m excited to work with this team to further enhance the platform and deliver unrivaled experiences to our owners and guests.
