Bangalore, 10/April/2019: Hotelogix, a leader in cloud-based Property Management Systems has announced that the adoption and efficient use of its PMS have helped The Queens Hotel in Canada to see a 20% rise in its revenue. This significant growth in revenue is a result of a 20% increase in OTA bookings and 10% increase in direct bookings.

Originally opened as Queen’s Motor Hotel back in 1958 in New Westminster, the property was a local favorite until it closed its doors in 2015. Now under a new ownership, The Queens Hotel is a restored historic boutique property offering its guests an inviting, comfortable and relaxing environment to enjoy their stay. With several room types and other amenities, the property offers a wide-range of services to its patrons – both business and leisure travelers.

The new management at The Queens Hotel has been using Hotelogix cloud PMS since 2018 and they have seen many benefits since then. With 20% more bookings coming via OTAs and a 10% increase in direct bookings, they have seen a 20% growth in their overall revenue. Plus, they no longer have to face issues such as overbooking and double-booking.

Speaking on how Hotelogix has helped the team at The Queens Hotel, Bonnie Poon, Director of Operations says, “In terms of accounting, the reports are so detailed and good that it has helped us reduce manual effort. Be it guest-related or internal data including revenue reports, transaction reports, etc., Hotelogix gives us detailed information in every aspect of our business. They also have an amazingly fast and efficient support team, which is a huge plus.”

Before adopting Hotelogix, the management at the Canada-based property had opted for another cloud PMS that hindered their operational efficiency. Apart from not supporting multiple POS setup, it also didn’t help them scale their business. Expressing her experience with Hotelogix PMS so far, Bonnie further says, "Hotelogix is the best cloud-based Hotel system in the market. It offers a lot of features for the price point, which adds value.”
