Leesburg, Virginia, December 2018 … The National Conference Center, the award-winning property in Leesburg, Virginia, has received three additional prestigious readers’ choice awards for the year. The awards include:
– “2018 Platinum Choice Award” from Smart Meetings magazine, a premier meeting industry publication and winning the award for the third consecutive year.
– “Best of the South Award” from Meetings Today magazine, another leading industry publication, which recognized The National for top quality service, meeting space, rooms and amenities.
– “Best Meeting Site” award from Convention South magazine for the third consecutive year.

The Smart Meetings award is presented by meeting planning professionals and the magazine’s readers. This is the third time The National has won this prestigious award, which honors remarkable standards of excellence in service including ambiance, amenities, breadth of resources, facility quality, guest services, recreational activities, dining options, and technical support.
Each year Meetings Today magazine’s readers, including planning professionals, determine the best hotels, conference centers and resorts for meetings in North America. This is the third year The National has won this prominent award.
Of the thousands of meeting destinations in the South, over 2,000 were nominated this year in the Convention South Best Meeting Site competition, and only 320 were chosen winners. After more than 7,000 readers and fans voted, The National is one of the top elite meeting sites and destinations in the South.
