St. Pete Beach, FL (March 12, 2020) – The Don CeSar, widely known as Florida’s iconic Pink Palace®, and its sister property the Beach House Suites, proudly welcome Thomas Fraher as the new General Manager Fraher will oversee budgets, daily operations, sales and marketing efforts, and lead the 92-year old landmark through its multi-phased renovations which will conclude at the end of the year.

“I am thrilled to join The Don CeSar and its world class staff,” said Fraher. “The Don CeSar and Beach House Suites are a pillar within the community, and a destination that guests have been returning to year-after-year for nearly a century. I am honored to lead this team into a new era, and share in their passion and commitment to excellence.”

Fraher joins the team most recently from Viceroy Hotel Group and has also served as General Manager at properties such as The Donovan, Carlyle Hotel, Hotel Palomar, Nine Zero in Boston, and Lorien Hotel & Spa in the DC metro area. In addition to his robust track record of financial success, team satisfaction, and guest service, Thomas’ passion for hospitality is demonstrated in how he creates memorable moments for hotel guests and his team members alike. In previous roles he introduced tailored wellness programs, such as a “Running with the GM” experience where he would lead a run for hotel guests and staff through his favorite local trails.

Fraher received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management from Penn State University.  When Thomas isn’t rolling up his sleeves at work, he enjoys long scenic runs and looks forward to exploring the famous beaches of St. Pete by foot.
