MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 9, 2019The Central Station, a Curio Collection by Hilton™ hotel, announced today the appointment of Jeremy Sadler as General Manager and Helen Nelson as Director of Sales and Marketing. The 123-room boutique hotel is set to open in Memphis’ iconic South Main district in Fall 2019, transforming the 105-year-old renowned transportation hub into a luxury eight-story, music and design-driven hotel.

As General Manager, Sadler will lead day-to-day hotel operations, guest relations and team development for The Central Station. A tenured hospitality leader, Sadler brings more than two decades of experience to the property. Prior to joining The Central Station, Sadler served as opening general manager for Tulsa Club, a Curio Collection by Hilton™ property, where he spearheaded the transformation of the historic location into a premier hotel destination.

Sadler previously held other leadership roles with top hospitality brands, including IHG, Marriott, Starwood and Hilton, across the states of Texas, Alabama and Indiana. He earned his bachelor’s degree in hotel, motel, and restaurant management from Northwood University.

As opening Director of Sales and Marketing, Helen Nelson will focus on driving sales and business growth strategies for the boutique hotel. A seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, Nelson brings more than a decade of progressive hotel sales experience to the property, with expertise in client relations, pricing strategies and management. Prior to joining The Central Station, Nelson served as director of sales and marketing at Hu. Hotel Memphis, where she successfully led and executed sales strategies for business growth of the property.

Nelson has held additional sales and marketing management roles at notable IHG properties in Memphis, including Crowne Plaza Memphis East, Crowne Plaza Memphis Downtown, Holiday Inn Memphis Downtown and Whispering Woods Hotel Conference Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree in tourism and leisure management from University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham, England.
