Paris’ Top Independent Hotel Group Keeps Full Portfolio with Pegasus Solutions
DALLAS (July 8, 2014) – The Astotel Group, created in 1971, has renewed its agreement with Pegasus Solutions for global sales and marketing support of its full portfolio through Pegasus Connect+ Premium. Paris’ number one independent hotel group will continue to offer its 15 three- and four-star hotels in the global distribution systems (GDSs) under the Pegasus Connect+ “UI” chain code, as well as through a thousand Pegasus-connected online channels.
“The Astotel Group currently has more than 1,000 rooms in Paris, which have each been designed to deliver the stay travelers to the City of Lights expect,” said Jean-Pierre Cachan, chief executive officer of The Astotel Group. “It is our job to deliver that memorable hotel experience. We rely on Pegasus to deliver the travelers seeking it – from all regions and backgrounds.”
All 15 Astotel hotels are located in the center of Paris, including in the Opéra, Grands Boulevards and Champs Elysées districts. The hotels are renowned for their visual appeal as much as for the attentive service offered, which includes complimentary wifi, soft open bar with snacking, and minibar in the four-star hotels. With a commitment to regularly renovate the full portfolio, Astotel has remained a consistent fixture for new and returning business and leisure travelers visiting Paris.
“In addition to the GDS and online connectivity we provide The Astotel Group, we also leverage our preferred relationships with American Express and Carlson Wagonlit Travel to support the hotels’ corporate business,” said Alexis Dobbelaere, senior vice president of global sales, Europe for Pegasus Solutions. “As a Pegasus Connect+ Premium client, Astotel’s hotels also enjoy the sales benefit of our global corporate account and agency management team selling on their behalf to audiences worldwide.”
