Houston, TX — March 16, 2022 — Terrapin Hospitality, one of the nation’s fastest-growing hotel management companies, announced today the expansion of their management team with the promotion of Shawn Kvernen to Chief Operating Officer and the addition of Robert Adler as Regional Vice President.

In his new role, Kvernen will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s overall growth and oversight of the entire managed portfolio. Adler will report directly to Kvernen.

Shawn’s new position along with the addition of Robert Adler will allow us to continue our aggressive growth strategy.”

 

Kvernen joined Terrapin in September 2021 as Senior Vice President of Business Development upon the closing of the company’s acquisition of K Partners, where he served as Owner and Chief Operating Officer. During his 15-year tenure at K Partners, he held various operational roles and helped the company grow from four to 35 properties. Kvernen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from a Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Adler joins Terrapin from Hotel Equities, where he served as Vice President of Operations West and was responsible for overseeing the company’s extensive portfolio in the Western United States. He brings with him extensive leadership experience with multiple brand and hotel management organizations. Adler holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from the University of Denver.
