(New York, NY - September 2018) - Following it’s opening in December 2017, Valsana Hotel & Apartments has appointed Michael and Stephanie Lehnort as joint General Managers.  The Valsana is one of the most modern hotels in Switzerland in sustainability and design, and now under the leadership of Stephanie and Michael, it is set to successfully continue its 100-year tradition.

Lenhort has a degree in hotel business administration and began his career in Germany at the Brenner’s Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden. Here, he met his wife, Stephanie Lehnort who worked in Brenner’s as the Director of Events. Together, they moved to Switzerland, where Michael spent five years as the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Gstaad Palace, and Stephanie worked at the Park Hotel Vitznau as Director of Events and at the Gstaad Palace as the E-Commerce Manager. The pair then moved to the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz, where Michael served as the Deputy General Manager.

Valsana Hotel & Apartments embodies luxury – where it makes sense. Thanks to state-of-the-art innovations, the ecological footprint is kept as low as possible: an ice storage system supplies the entire building with heat generated using geothermal probes and heat recovery. The large wellness area offers a relaxing pool, sauna area, gym and a clear view of the Arosa landscape. The Valsana is an ideal retreat with the perfect combination of culture, cuisine and wellness in the midst of the Arosa mountain.
