MIAMI, Fla. – April 27, 2021 – The St. Regis Bal Harbour, the Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond resort that was recently named a top resort in Florida by Conde Nast Traveler, is proud to introduce award-winning Jessica Sanchez as the luxury resort’s new Director of Spa.

A successful professional with over five years of experience directing luxury hotel spas, Sanchez has already established herself as a force in the wellness industry. She joins the St. Regis Bal Harbour team following her position as Assistant Spa Director at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove where she earned the 2018 Leader of the Year distinction, the 2017 Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA) Inn Key – Spa Hospitality Leadership Award, and the 2016 Five-Star Employee of the Year. Her pronounced ability to conceptualize initiatives that enhance the guest experience has allowed her to transform the spas she’s worked with and create an environment that allows guests to relax and rejuvenate.

Sanchez will oversee all spa operations for Remède Spa known for its revitalizing day spa treatments that indulge mind, body and spirit. Sanchez has already hit the ground running by implementing a new diamond facial to celebrate the village of Bal Harbour’s 75th diamond anniversary. The newly added wellness experience will combat premature aging and maintain plump, hydrated, and wrinklefree skin. The facial will include a 25% Glycolic peel combined with a White Diamond Glowing Mask from Natura Bissé. Sanchez will also execute a new spa experience for St.Regis guests and non-guests.

“My vision as Spa Director is to continue to position Remède Spa and The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort as a holistic wellness destination that celebrates positivity and mindfulness,” said Jessica Sanchez. “The idea is to offer a range of therapies to promote detox, rest, recharge, rejuvenation and wellness.”

Sanchez will be responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the spa, including its programs, services, hours of operation, facilities and staff. Sanchez will also coordinate the delivery of spa services, including salon, skincare, fitness and wellness, massage, program coordinating, reservations, reception desk and locker room areas. As a department head, she also directs and works with the management team to successfully execute all spa operations. Sanchez’s goal as director of spa is to improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
