(LOS ANGELES, CA – July 10, 2019) — Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles, the stylish airport hotel adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport, today announced the appointment of hospitality veteran Fred DeSota as Director of Sales and Marketing to oversee all sales and marketing initiatives.

Mr. DeSota comes to Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel with more than two decades of hospitality experience. Previously Mr. DeSota served in various sales and marketing roles with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, a global hotel management company with hotels, resorts, conference centers and boutique hotels located throughout the world. There, he focused on leading hotels to deliver innovative culture, style, cutting-edge technology, and next generation lodging, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

A seasoned sales and marketing professional, Mr. DeSota leads the internationally-focused sales and marketing team at Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles. He will also oversee the hotel’s Hub Conference Center, 36,000 sq. ft. of recently renovated meeting spaces, sales and marketing teams, and VIP services.
