McGrattan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the 128-room luxury hotel and is responsible for overseeing Sagamore Pendry Baltimore’s culinary initiatives, including on-property restaurant Rec Pier Chop House, the Italian rosticceria, and The Cannon Room, an American whiskey bar, both by acclaimed Chef Andrew Carmellini and NoHo Hospitality Group. McGrattan’s extensive 14-year culinary career encompasses hotel F&B management at four- and five-star properties ranging from 250 to 700 guest rooms. Previous experience includes roles at The Peabody Memphis in Tennessee, Nashville’s Hutton Hotel and The Westin Charlotte in North Carolina. Additionally, he has participated in multiple James Beard House dinners in New York and cooked with numerous celebrity chefs, including Edward Lee, Lidia Bastianich, Ken Frank, Josiah Citrin, and Jean-George Vongerichten. McGrattan graduated magna cum laude in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, N.C., and brings tremendous culinary knowledge and technical skill to Sagamore Pendry Baltimore.
